Plomino talk at PloneConf2010

There will be a talk on Plomino at the Bristol Plone Conference 2010 the 28th of october.

Talk subject

Plomino is a Plone product which allows to build custom applications entirely from the Plone web interface.

It allows to design forms using the TinyMCE editor, and to insert fields, or custom actions directly in their layout. Fields can be basic inputs, but they can also be much more advanced (computed fields, charts, maps, dynamic datagrids, etc.). Forms can also contains custom actions, or dynamically hiden areas. Information stored using those forms can be sorted, filtered, or searched. The application behaviour can be changed depending on the user access rights and roles. With those features, Plomino enables any non-Plone expert to build custom applications quickly and easily.

This talk will introduce to Plomino usage, will present some business cases, and will explain how Plomino deals with standard software development practices (testing, debugging, deployment, server-to-server synchronization, etc.).
